Then Cheryl’s sister, Rachel, arrives unexpectedly during visiting hours and drops a bombshell。 She’s come with a photograph that a friend took on vacation at a theme park with a boy in the background who has a familiar, distinctive birthmark … and even though David and Rachel realize it can’t be, they both just know。 It's David’s son, Matthew, and he's still alive。

David plans a harrowing escape from prison, determined to do what seems impossible – save his son, clear his own name, and discover the real story of what happened that devastating night。

5 awesome stars!! This is Harlan’s best book yet - so good! I was lucky enough to get a signed book too! Buckle up as this is action packed with lots of twists and turns。 Completely addicting and unputdownable。 The story actually gave me chills there at the end。 I loved all the characters and even those goofy, but funny FBI agents。 Entertaining to say the least。 A bit far fetched? Sure, but totally worth the ride and highly recommend to Harlan Coben fans!!

Coben's books are always action-packed thrillers this one was too。 Did I have a hard time believing the things happening in this book could really happen - YES!!! Did that take away from me enjoying the book - no。 After all it is a story。 The way he wove the characters past experiences into the current story left me wondering - did he come up with the plot line then had to go back in time to make it work。 That's just me overthinking the story。 Coben's books are always action-packed thrillers this one was too。 Did I have a hard time believing the things happening in this book could really happen - YES!!! not his best but pretty good。

It’s really a sentimental 4 stars。 I love Harlan Coben。 This isn’t one of his best。 Mostly all familiar and, by now, predictable。 That’s not always a bad thing。 Fun dialogue and characters。

I have loved Harlan Coben for many years and through many books。 Loved this one as well, but maybe not QUITE as much as some others。 His uncle and cousin certainly paid a great price for him。 As well as hs ex wife。 IT WAS NERVEWRACKING to think he might have to go back to Briggs, but all was OK at the end。 Unlikely events, but 。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。it's a novel。 。 ==== I have loved Harlan Coben for many years and through many books。 Loved this one as well, but maybe not QUITE as much as some others。 His uncle and cousin certainly paid a great price for him。 As well as hs ex wife。 IT WAS NERVEWRACKING to think he might have to go back to Briggs, but all was OK at the end。 Unlikely events, but 。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。it's a novel。 。 ==== 。。。more

Another thriller from Harlan! Kept me on the edge of my seat and as usual a twist at the end! Love that he carries over characters from his other books。

Couldn’t put it down!

This was an intense thriller。 As a mystery it didn’t surprise too much and the ending was a little anticlimactic given the buildup。 It almost hit 5 stars for me but I was hoping for more of a twist。 Solid but didn’t quite hit it。

I loved this book。 I could see some of it coming but there were more twists and turns than anyone could see coming。 I really wanted to keep reading after I started but it was too long to read all at one time。 A father is convicted of murdering his own son and spends 5 years in prison not really caring that he is innocent because he is so depressed about his son's death and misplaced guilt that he is somehow to blame。 And then he is given reason to believe that not only someone else believes in h I loved this book。 I could see some of it coming but there were more twists and turns than anyone could see coming。 I really wanted to keep reading after I started but it was too long to read all at one time。 A father is convicted of murdering his own son and spends 5 years in prison not really caring that he is innocent because he is so depressed about his son's death and misplaced guilt that he is somehow to blame。 And then he is given reason to believe that not only someone else believes in his innocence but his son is actually still alive! This gives him the incentive to escape and seek answers to all the mysteries of who, how and why this could happen; and of course to get his son back。 My only quibble if you can call it that is that not every loose end is tied up at the finish。。。although I guess we can assume it all works out (that is all I can say without spoilers)。 。。。more

Clearly, I have recently become addicted to Harlan Coben, which is great timing since this book JUST released。 I had my heart in my throat the entire time!! This was such an insane read, and I seriously recommend it to everyone。 I read this off the back of just reading NOTES ON AN EXECUTION which was really messing with my head, because BOTH male leads are sentenced to death, but one was guilty, and one was innocent。 I really had my doubts when reading the premise, because it seems so out of lef Clearly, I have recently become addicted to Harlan Coben, which is great timing since this book JUST released。 I had my heart in my throat the entire time!! Thank you to Harlan Coben, Grand Central Publishing, and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review! 。。。more

good, but not greatI am a big fan and have loved all his books until now。 This story was convoluted and tried too hard。 Maybe it’s his time to retire

I have read all of Coben’s stand alone novels, and this is definitely in the top half。 Known for his constant twists and turns, Coben stays pretty straight forward in his latest book。 I appreciated this, as his last novel (The Match) contained almost too many twists and was too much of a mental workout to keep everything straight。

Meredith

Convicted of killing his son David escapes to prove that his son is still alive。 The twists and turns in this book will keep you guessing and keep the pages turning。 Fast paced and surprising this book will suck you in, you will be unable to put it down。

Despite a most improbable storyline, in true Coben style, this is a page turner。 Lots of action and high anxiety with a few good twists thrown in are the hallmarks of Harlan Coben's writing style。 I quite honestly could have done without the banter between the two FBI agents, but overall this was another great read by a favorite author。 Many thanks to Grand Central Publishing for the Advanced Reader copy。 Despite a most improbable storyline, in true Coben style, this is a page turner。 Lots of action and high anxiety with a few good twists thrown in are the hallmarks of Harlan Coben's writing style。 I quite honestly could have done without the banter between the two FBI agents, but overall this was another great read by a favorite author。 Many thanks to Grand Central Publishing for the Advanced Reader copy。 。。。more

4。5 ⭐️ some rough language in this one, some violence as well。 I’ll never pass up HC。 Always a wild ride!

This is difficult to put down! I really liked it!! I did, however, figure it out about halfway through the book, but I still enjoyed it!

Sara Hagenhoff

A cliche, but it really does grab you from the first page。The action is non-stop and keeps your attention every step of the way。 Really good story line。 You keep wondering how everything is going to come together and make sense。 He manages to get this done。 Really a good read。

Richard Kaskel

Couldn’t put it down。

Sue Bowen

Another good read from Harlan Coben。 My only complaint is that it seemed to wrap everything up in just a couple of pages。

Jessica Penton

I absolute LOVE all things Harlan Coben and this one did not disappoint。David Burroughs is in prison service time for killing his son。 After 5 years his ex sister in law comes to visit him with a picture。 The picture shows a young boy who looks an awful lot like David’s son。 David and Rachel soon realize they need to do something with this information。 They are both willing to do whatever it takes to figure out what actually happened the night his son was killed。This book takes you for a ride!

Tabitha

That was a quick read。 Wildly addicting and entertaining。 Even got me there in the end。 Hoping this becomes one of Coben's many film/TV adaptations。 That was a quick read。 Wildly addicting and entertaining。 Even got me there in the end。 Hoping this becomes one of Coben's many film/TV adaptations。 。。。more

I Will Find You by Harlan Coben The master of plot twists delivers once again。 Old secrets that resurface, check。 Snarky sense of humor, check。 Twists within twists within more twists, check。 This book has everything that I have come to expect from a Harlan Coben novel。 It is a great standalone with a few name tosses here and there for characters in his series。 Fast paced, edge of your seat thriller。 5 stars。#bookreview #2023 #thriller #fivestars
